REGISTRATION INFO

RAD! RAD ROVER that is! A one-of-a-kind kids obstacle course adventure for the whole family.

 

The course is flat, safe, and entirely supervised, making this a fantastic event for kids and their adult spectators or partners.

  • 10-15 obstacles: kids of all ages will have the opportunity to challenge themselves on appropriate adventure elements. More challenging elements are included on the 2 MILE Course, and the easier elements are within the 1 MILE Course.

  • All registered kids may bring along 1 side-kick throughout the course. (side-kick must be an approved guardian or parent age 18+)

 

It is a great introduction to a healthy life and also works to improve your child’s self-confidence as they climb and problem solve through each obstacle and cross the finish line. Not to mention they'll have a blast with their friends on this customized playground!

2 MILE COURSE: Kids ages 7-11

- Start Time: 9:00am

1 MILE COURSE: Kids ages 3-6

- Start Time: 10:00am (estimated start time)

PRICING:

$35 SUPER EARLY BIRD: until April 16  [closed]

NO REGISTRATION AFTER AUGUST 23.

RAD KIDS STUFF!

Each kid will receive the following:

  • Free RAD ROVER T-Shirt

  • Custom finishers medal

  • Race Number

  • Post event refreshments

Please note: To assure that your kids receive the t-shirt size requested, you must register by July 16. (the date we order shirts) We do order a limited amount of extra shirts, based on our expected forecast, but can not guarantee your shirt size if you register late. If you register after July 16, you will receive shirt sizes per availability at check-in, on a first-come/first-serve basis, until that size is gone. If your size is gone, you will be able to select from the sizes available until they are gone.

EVENT TIMELINE / PACKET PICK UP

The RAD ROVER Kids Obstacle Run 2020 edition is surely going to be different and one to remember!

We have adapted our plan and will be adhering to all covid guidelines.

 

Check out the below for an overview of the changes we're making. The 2020 event will still be similar to 2019, instead of sending off everyone at once, we will be sending out waves to ensure social distancing.

Important Information:

 

  • Below is a general overview of how 2020 will operate. 

  • Registration will be closed on August 23rd!!​

  • GROUP START REQUESTS: For those of you already registered, we'll be sending out an email with a link to a Google Form to submit your start group requests. Please follow these instructions when you get the form:

    • ONLY 1 person per group submit the form: This is very important, so please coordinate with your family & friends so that only one of you submits the form.

    • (Now): Start picking your group, designate who will submit the form so you are ready to go on August 24.

    • August 24: Form will be sent by email to all registered. 

    • August 27: Forms must be submitted by end of day through the Google Form only.

    • August 28: Start times will be sent to each person via email only.

  • START TIMES: 

    • August 29

    • 8am to ???(DEPENDING ON TOTAL AMOUNT OF REGISTRATIONS)

    • Start groups will be in waves of 25 people, every 15 minutes. smaller waves of 10 will be sent out with about 1-2 minutes in between.

  • LOCATIONS:  ERIE COMMUNITY PARK 450 Powers St Erie, CO 80516

    • Packet Pickup: August 29th: 9am-8pm - Erie Community Center parking lot (drive-through only)

    • Start Line Location: Inside Erie Community park (same as year's past)

  • This year's course:

    • The 2020 courses will all be the same as in year's past. We will change a few obstacles to avoid excessive touching by participants.

    • No water stations in 2020 (please bring your own water bottles for the course).

    • Start Line Arch, Announcer and Music start for all runners!

    • Finish Line Arch & Music for all runners

    • Finish Line Photo booth for all runners
